Adoption Info
Are you thinking about adding to your family? Adopting a shelter dog is the way to go. There are so many animals out there that need and want a good home. All they want is love. You will be adopting your new best friend. You will have the satisfaction of adopting a dog that has been abandoned or abused through no fault of their own. Some have been left behind during a move, or they got old and was no longer wanted. Want a puppy? We have those. Want a more mature dog and not have to go through the puppy phase? We have those too.
Adoption fees are $80.00 and up. The fee covers the cost of spaying/neutering, rabies, vaccinations and micro chips for your pet. If you adopt a puppy they will have to wait until they are 6 months old for a female and 9 months old for a male. You can bring your puppy back to our vet for spay/neuter or we will send your vet a payment of $65.00. If you qualify for Paws NELA low cost/no cost spay/neuter a portion of the adoption fee will be waived. If you are a low income Senior Citizen, Disabled Veteran or need a Therapy Dog you may qualify for our special program which will waive the adoption fee. We reserve this program for our adult dogs that have been spayed or neutered. Puppies are not eligible.
You can see if you qualify for adopting one of our loving dogs by completing the online application. If you are having trouble filling this out you can contact us to have one emailed to you or you can pick up one at PFC Feeds, O’Neal Gas or Caldwell Animal Clinic.
