Our first golf tournament was a huge success. We wanted the participants to have a great time and we raised much needed funds for SPC. All the funds paid in to play in the tournament went back to the players in prize money, food and to pay for the golf course and cart fees. Everyone seemed to really enjoy the food. We had chicken salad from Newks, Boston butt, potato salad and baked beans cooked by Freestyle Catering and deserts provided by Angel Frazier. Despite the temperatures there was a good turnout. Only good things were heard about the event so we are hopeful this is a great start to a much needed fundraiser for years to come.
